Michael Grieger started his DJing career in the underground house clubs of Johannesburg, and is a relative newcomer to the London scene. After a spell at Oslo's 'Living Room', he arrived in London and soon began to make his presence felt, participating in a number of nights including a regular slot with 'Roasted' in Mayfair.
In 2003 he co-founded 'In It Together', with Peter James (Luvely - Edinburgh), a successful fortnightly funky house night in the heart of London's West End. Later that year he made his debut for Loosen Up, when they teamed up with Oven Ready, for their new year's eve bash in Kings Cross. He has been a Loosen Up resident ever since, and has become a firm favourite with the Loosen Up regulars.
Michael refuses to be a slave to one genre of house, and enjoys playing a mixture of soulful and uplifting house, and deep, progressive and tech house. Always with an emphasis on keeping the club jumping. |
